Terms of Service
Last updated: May 24, 2026
These Terms are written for a B2B casino game software platform. They are intentionally direct about operator responsibility, payment verification, wallet integrations, security, and gambling-adjacent compliance.
These Terms are a strong operational template, not a substitute for licensed legal review. Before accepting real-money operators, have counsel adapt them to your company, jurisdiction, contracts, payment flows, and regulatory position.
B2B Platform Only
Stakeworks provides business-to-business software, game content, dashboards, APIs, wallet integration tools, reporting, and related services for operators. Stakeworks is not intended to be used directly by consumers as a public gambling operator, sportsbook, casino, cashier, bank, payment processor, or money transmitter.
Operators are responsible for their own player relationship, player onboarding, account controls, payment acceptance, wallet custody, jurisdictional eligibility, tax treatment, customer support, and regulatory obligations unless a separate written agreement signed by Stakeworks states otherwise.
Current Platform Scope
Stakeworks supports public demo play, operator dashboards, API key management, wallet callback configuration, license/cashier workflows, reporting, audit logs, player limits, promotion controls, and hand-by-hand dispute exports.
Real-money access is gated by license status, operator/game configuration, platform sign-off, emergency controls, and supported embedded wallet adapters. Not every game is automatically available for real-money embedded launch. Unsupported games may remain demo-only until their wallet, bonus, reporting, and fairness paths are implemented and tested.
Acceptance
By accessing or using Stakeworks, creating an operator account, using API credentials, launching a game session, configuring a wallet callback, submitting a renewal request, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
If you use Stakeworks for a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Eligibility And Authority
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts.
- You must provide accurate company, contact, billing, and operator information.
- You must not use Stakeworks if doing so would violate laws, sanctions, gaming rules, payment rules, or contractual restrictions that apply to you.
- You must not provide platform access to anyone who is prohibited, sanctioned, unauthorized, or acting for an illegal business.
Operator Compliance Responsibilities
Gambling, sweepstakes, fantasy sports, sportsbook, casino, social casino, pay-per-head, offshore book, crypto, and promotional gaming rules differ by jurisdiction. Stakeworks does not decide whether your business model is lawful. You must obtain competent legal and regulatory advice before using the platform with real-money, prize, sweepstakes, credit, crypto, or gambling-adjacent activity.
- You are responsible for licensing, registrations, regulator approvals, allowed jurisdictions, and market access.
- You are responsible for KYC, AML, sanctions screening, fraud controls, age verification, location controls, self-exclusion, responsible gaming, affordability or risk checks, tax reporting, and record retention where required.
- You are responsible for player terms, privacy notices, consent flows, bonus rules, payout rules, dispute handling, chargeback handling, and customer communications.
- You must not use Stakeworks to serve players in prohibited jurisdictions or to evade gaming, financial, consumer-protection, advertising, sanctions, or data-protection laws.
No Legal, Compliance, Financial, Or Tax Advice
Stakeworks may provide technical documentation, implementation guidance, security recommendations, reporting tools, audit trails, or responsible gaming features. That information is operational support only. It is not legal, compliance, accounting, tax, payment, financial, or regulatory advice.
You remain responsible for obtaining your own professional advice and for documenting your compliance decisions.
Accounts, Admins, And Credentials
- You are responsible for all activity under your admin, operator, staff, and API credentials.
- API secrets, wallet callback secrets, admin sessions, and renewal links must be protected from disclosure.
- Secrets must be stored only in secure backend environments, never in browser code, public repositories, mobile apps, screenshots, chat messages, or client-side configuration.
- If a credential may be exposed, you must revoke it, rotate it, deploy the replacement, and notify Stakeworks immediately if real-money traffic may be affected.
- Stakeworks may suspend access, revoke credentials, or require rotation if we believe credentials are exposed, misused, stale, or unsafe.
Wallet Integrations And Money Movement
In seamless wallet mode, the operator owns and controls the player wallet. Stakeworks sends server-to-server balance, debit, credit, and rollback requests to the callback URL configured by the operator. Stakeworks does not hold player funds in this mode.
- Your wallet callback must use HTTPS in production and verify Stakeworks callback signatures.
- Your callback must reject stale timestamps, reused nonces, malformed payloads, invalid signatures, unauthorized players, disabled accounts, and disallowed currencies.
- Debit, credit, and rollback actions must be idempotent. Repeated requests with the same idempotency key must not double-charge or double-credit a player.
- You must maintain accurate balances, transaction records, dispute records, and reconciliation procedures.
- You are responsible for handling wallet downtime, insufficient funds, declined debits, failed credits, rollback failures, and player disputes.
Payments, Renewals, And Cashier Details
License renewals may be submitted through the Stakeworks renewal cashier using the methods configured by Stakeworks admin, such as crypto address, PayPal destination, or bank transfer details. A submitted transaction hash, reference, screenshot, receipt, or payer note is not proof of final payment by itself.
Access may remain pending, suspended, expired, or under manual review until Stakeworks verifies payment. Automated approval may occur only when a trusted payment provider, bank, or blockchain verification process confirms the payment according to Stakeworks requirements.
- You must send the correct amount, currency, network, destination, memo, and reference where required.
- You are responsible for fees, wrong-chain transfers, underpayments, chargebacks, reversals, blocked transfers, and inaccurate references unless Stakeworks agrees otherwise in writing.
- Stakeworks may reject, delay, refund, or manually review payments that cannot be verified.
Acceptable Use
- Do not attack, scan, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, exploit, bypass, or interfere with Stakeworks systems.
- Do not use the platform for illegal gambling, money laundering, fraud, sanctions evasion, stolen funds, terrorist financing, abusive credit activity, unlawful advertising, or deceptive player practices.
- Do not manipulate game results, wallet callbacks, RNG outputs, reporting, payouts, balances, limits, session records, or audit logs.
- Do not hide material terms from players, misrepresent odds or outcomes, target excluded or underage users, or use Stakeworks to bypass responsible gaming controls.
- Do not upload malicious code, personal data you have no right to process, regulated data not covered by your agreement, or content that violates rights of others.
Game Integrity And Availability
Stakeworks is designed to provide server-settled game sessions, transaction records, operator configuration, and reporting. No online system can guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free software, or immunity from every attack, outage, integration defect, or third-party failure.
Operators must test integrations, wallet callbacks, payout flows, limits, disabled-game behavior, expired-license behavior, supported real-money game behavior, and reconciliation before allowing real-money use.
Suspension And Termination
- Stakeworks may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, expired licenses, security risk, suspected fraud, compliance concern, illegal use, regulator inquiry, abusive traffic, credential exposure, or violation of these Terms.
- Stakeworks may disable games, wallet actions, API keys, operator accounts, cashier access, or admin access where necessary to protect the platform, operators, players, or third parties.
- You may stop using the platform, but outstanding payment, confidentiality, compliance, audit, indemnity, limitation-of-liability, and dispute obligations continue where applicable.
Data, Records, And Audit Logs
Stakeworks may keep technical, security, billing, license, game, wallet, reporting, admin, and audit records to operate the platform, investigate issues, comply with obligations, enforce terms, and support disputes. Operators are responsible for their own player-facing record retention and regulatory records.
Intellectual Property
Stakeworks and its licensors retain all rights in the platform, games, software, APIs, documentation, designs, artwork, trademarks, systems, and underlying technology. Your rights are limited to the access granted under your license or written agreement.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, modify, create derivative works from, or compete with Stakeworks using protected platform materials except as allowed in a signed agreement.
Confidentiality
Nonpublic platform information, pricing, roadmap details, API secrets, callback secrets, security designs, integration materials, operator data, reports, and business communications are confidential. You must protect them with reasonable care and use them only for authorized platform purposes.
Disclaimers
Stakeworks is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis unless a signed agreement states otherwise. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Stakeworks disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, legal compliance for your business model, and suitability for any jurisdiction.
Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Stakeworks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, including loss of revenue, players, goodwill, data, crypto assets, payment access, business opportunity, or regulatory approval.
Except where prohibited by law or separately agreed in writing, Stakeworks aggregate liability for claims related to the platform will not exceed the amounts you paid to Stakeworks for the affected service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stakeworks, its owners, personnel, contractors, affiliates, and service providers from claims, losses, damages, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses arising from your business, players, jurisdictions, content, wallet, payments, taxes, compliance failures, regulatory issues, data processing, breach of these Terms, or misuse of the platform.
Changes
Stakeworks may update these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted unless the page states otherwise. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
